Industrial Electrician (Lead Manufacturing)

Chester

£50,000 - £55,000 OTE (£65,000) + Training + Progression + Healthcare + Death in Service Pay + Rotating Shifts

Are you a Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias and PLC experience looking to join a leading UK manufacturer where you can work on modern, high-tech industrial equipment, receive ongoing training and development, and boost your earnings through shift allowance and overtime?

This company is one of the UK's leading suppliers of sheet lead and lead components supplying to a wide range of industries such as Nuclear, Defence, Healthcare and Construction. After continued growth, this is a chance to join a reputable business that's been going for 200 years with over 100 employees.

In this role you will be fault finding, diagnosing and repairs industrial machinery including but not limited to; furnaces, casting machines, conveyors and mixers within a factory environment. You will perform PPM to minimise breakdowns and service PLC controlled systems while adhering to company safety standards. There will also be an element of mechanical repairs including pumps, gearboxes, bearings and hydraulics.

This role would suit an Industrial Electrical Maintenance Engineer that has experience on servicing and programming PLC's looking to join a well-established company that value employee progression and safety.

The Role:

  • Fault finding, diagnosing and repairing industrial machinery
  • Working on furnaces, conveyors, casting machines, extraction systems, crushers and mixers.
  • Mechanical repairs of motors, drives, gearboxes, pumps, valves and hydraulics
  • Rotating shift schedule Mon-Fri (6am-14pm then 14pm-22pm)
  • 25% shift allowance on every shift

The Person:

  • Electrical Maintenance Engineer with Industrial experience
  • Willing to commute to their factory in Chester
