Industrial Painter / Paint Sprayer

£14.00 to £15.00 per hour depending on experience
Full time, part time & flexible hours considered


About the Role

Heaton Green Dust Control Ltd is looking for an experienced Industrial Painter / Paint Sprayer to join our manufacturing team.

This role would suit someone with previous experience of industrial paint spraying who takes pride in producing a high quality finish & is comfortable working in a busy manufacturing environment.


Working Hours

  • Full time: 39 hours per week on a compressed working week, Monday to Thursday
  • Part time hours considered
  • Flexible working hours considered within our normal operating hours of Monday to Thursday, 6am to 4.45pm
  • Overtime may be required depending on business needs

Key Responsibilities

  • Industrial spray painting of manufactured steel components & equipment
  • Preparing surfaces prior to painting, including cleaning, masking & general preparation
  • Mixing & preparing paints and coatings
  • Applying coatings to achieve the required finish & coverage
  • Checking completed work to make sure quality standards are met
  • Maintaining spray equipment & keeping the paint and preparation areas clean & organised
  • Working safely & following company health and safety procedures
  • Working with the wider manufacturing team to meet production schedules

Essential Experience

  • Previous experience of paint spraying on an industrial scale is essential

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience in an industrial, engineering or manufacturing paint environment
  • Can consistently achieve a high quality finish
  • Has good attention to detail
  • Can work independently & as part of a team
  • Understands safe working practices when using paints & coatings
  • Is reliable & takes pride in their work
