An understanding of CAD design, particularly Siemens NX and or PCB design tools is desirable. Programming knowledge would be advantageous, as well as an interest in traction motors and inverters.

What you will do

During the placement you will take on responsibilities such as:

• Supporting design and development of race winning powertrain
• Opportunity for Mechanical CAD design on and off race car with technical drawings
• Opportunity for Electronic schematic design through to practical testing and PCB evaluation
• Testing – on site dynos and trackside testing support when required
• Opportunity for software development and implementation
