Job Description

Start date: 16 August 2027

Location: Broughton, North Wales

Duration: 12.5 months

What You Will Be Doing

  • Carrying out investigations and root cause analysis into reported quality issues supporting operational teams across multiple Airbus sites.
  • Ensuring that appropriate corrective and preventative actions are taken by the accountable department by working as part of multifunctional teams in line with Quality rules and standards.
  • Delivering changes, best practices, synergies and promoting business excellence by working with the Quality transnational teams to deploy harmonised processes.
  • Familiarisation with digital tools including Google Suite and big data tools to analyse non-conformance data in order to support non-conformance reduction.
  • Opportunity to develop knowledge and understanding of our wing product working as part of one of our lineside teams.

Requirements

Our placements are open to Undergraduates only. Therefore it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement. Please inform your graduation date on your application.

Your application should include a CV along with a Cover Letter outlining your motivation and suitability for the role.

Successful candidates will be studying towards a degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical or Manufacturing Engineering and be someone who demonstrates:

  • Passion about Airbus and the aviation industry.
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills.
  • Collaborates well within a team.
  • Ability to adapt quickly.

Security Clearance

You will be subject to a BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) check. You may also need to gain UK SC-level Security Clearance or Export Control, depending on the role.
