Industrial Relations Business Partner

Join our dynamic team as an Industrial Relations Business Partner, where you will play a pivotal role in mobilising, organising, and influencing a diverse range of stakeholders. As part of a small, dedicated team, your exceptional relationship and communication skills will be essential in navigating the complexities of our work group representatives across the network.
You will need to embrace and understand cultural differences, building a collaborative environment that influences our organisational culture. Your ability to engage with various stakeholders will be crucial to the success of our department and the overall mission of easyJet.
What You’ll Be Doing:
In this role, you will serve as a subject matter expert in industrial relations, ensuring that easyJet maintains positive and progressive relationships with our union and works council partners.
You will lead negotiations on industrial agreements within specific jurisdictions, preparing key stakeholders for engagement while adhering to our mandating process and strategic objectives.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Advising people managers and Country Leadership teams on industrial relations matters,
- Integrating the local and national IR agenda into people plans, and
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
Additionally, you will analyse local and national IR data to identify insights and opportunities, contributing to the continuous improvement of our industrial relations practices. What You’ll Bring to the Role:
To do this role you will be a business focused IR specialist with a strong commercial mindset, capable of balancing cost, quality, and fairness to deliver the best value for the company. You will have a delivery focused, can-do attitude and demonstrate creative thinking to achieve results.
With extensive IR experience, including regular negotiations with trade unions and works councils across Europe, you will be adept at framing legal and negotiated IR issues into practical implications for easyJet.
You will excel in change management within a dynamic, fast-paced European environment, emphasising delivery, cooperation, and cross-functional collaboration. You will have the ability to draw insights from data, providing persuasive challenges to drive change and improvement, while also influencing, challenging, and building trust at senior levels to facilitate cross functional decision-making.

Strong project management, influencing, and negotiation skills, combined with sensitive people skills and a high level of emotional intelligence, will enable you to navigate complex people issues effectively.
You must be able to work under pressure, challenge appropriately, and demonstrate presence and credibility within the organisation, communicating effectively with individuals at all levels. A willingness to travel as required is also essential.
Fluent French and full professional proficiency in English are essential for this role.
Location & Hours of Work
This full-time role will be based in France, CDG and will be 35 hours per week. We support hybrid working and we spend 60% of our time per month in the office. There may be travel required.

Vos missions
Dans ce rôle, vous serez l'expert(e) de référence en matière de relations sociales et veillerez à ce qu'easyJet entretienne des relations positives et constructives avec nos partenaires syndicaux et les comités d'entreprise en France et en Suisse principalement.
Vous dirigerez les négociations relatives aux accords collectifs dans certaines juridictions spécifiques, préparerez les parties prenantes concernées aux échanges et veillerez au respect de nos processus de validation ainsi que de nos objectifs stratégiques.
Vos responsabilités comprendront notamment:
- Conseiller les managers et les équipes de direction pays sur les sujets liés aux relations sociales.
- Intégrer les enjeux locaux et nationaux de relations sociales dans les plans de gestion des ressources humaines.
- Veiller à la conformité avec la législation applicable.
- Analyser les données locales et nationales relatives aux relations sociales afin d'identifier des tendances, des enseignements et des opportunités.
- Contribuer à l'amélioration continue de nos pratiques en matière de relations sociales.

Ce que vous apporterez au poste
Pour réussir dans ce poste, vous serez un(e) spécialiste des relations sociales orienté(e) business, doté(e) d'un solide sens commercial et capable d'équilibrer coûts, qualité et équité afin d'offrir la meilleure valeur ajoutée à l'entreprise.
Vous adopterez une approche pragmatique et orientée résultats, avec une attitude positive et proactive, tout en faisant preuve de créativité pour atteindre vos objectifs.
Fort(e) d'une expérience significative en relations sociales, incluant des négociations régulières avec des syndicats et des comités d'entreprise à travers l'Europe, vous saurez traduire les questions juridiques et conventionnelles complexes en implications concrètes et opérationnelles pour easyJet.
Vous excellerez dans la conduite du changement au sein d'un environnement européen dynamique et en constante évolution, avec un fort accent sur la performance, la coopération et la collaboration transverse.
