About The Role

As an Industrial Sales Engineer at Hilti, you will drive the adoption, integration, and long-term scaling of advanced technical solutions across manufacturing and production environments.

Operating at the intersection of engineering and commercial delivery, you will work directly within customer production environments to solve complex operational challenges, optimise workflows, and deliver measurable improvements in productivity, safety, and quality. This is a role defined by ownership, technical credibility, and execution—you will not just identify opportunities, but see them through to full implementation, adoption, and performance impact.

You will engage multi-level stakeholders across Engineering, Operations, Quality, and leadership teams, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor while translating technical capability into tangible business outcomes. Success comes from your ability to combine hands-on technical expertise with commercial instinct and deliver real change on-site.

What You'll Do

  • Drive growth by identifying, shaping, and delivering high-value solution opportunities, owning outcomes while partnering closely with sales teams across industrial customers
  • Assess customer production environments and workflows to uncover inefficiencies, constraints, and improvement opportunities
  • Lead technical engagements with multi-level stakeholders across Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Production to define and position the right solutions
  • Take full ownership of implementation, including on-site setup, testing, optimisation, and technical support to ensure solutions perform in real conditions
  • Act as the technical interface between customer teams and Hilti’s internal functions, aligning engineering requirements with commercial delivery
  • Embed solutions into customer operations, driving change management, system integration, and long-term adoption
  • Enable the wider sales team, building their capability to identify and progress technical solution opportunities

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
