About This Role
Are you an Industrial Sales Executive looking for your next opportunity, or an experienced Sales Executive ready to take your skills into the industrial equipment rental market? As our Industrial Sales Executive for the North, you will develop new and existing customer relationships, identify rental opportunities and help keep our municipal, industrial and warehouse cleaning equipment working where it is needed.
- Identify and secure long and short-term rental opportunities across your region.
- Build relationships with key decision makers, generating opportunities through direct sales, tenders and site surveys.
- Research potential customers and proactively develop your own pipeline of new business.
- Follow up enquiries, maintain accurate sales records and deliver against agreed sales targets.
- Work closely with Area Sales Executives, Branch Sales Managers, suppliers and colleagues to maximise opportunities.
About You
You will bring previous sales experience and the confidence to build credible relationships, spot opportunities and turn conversations into commercial results. Experience within asset rental, industrial equipment or the municipal sector could be useful, but it is your sales ability, curiosity and approach to customers that matter most.
- Previous sales experience, with evidence of developing customer relationships and generating business.
- A proactive approach to prospecting, researching potential customers and creating new opportunities.
- Commercial awareness and the confidence to negotiate while keeping customer needs in focus.
- Strong organisation skills, including accurate administration, follow-ups and reporting.
- A collaborative approach, working effectively with colleagues, customers, suppliers and manufacturers.
