As an Industrial Security Guard, you will help maintain the security of a busy logistics facility by controlling site access, verifying vehicle and trailer movements, conducting patrols, and responding to security concerns. Through your vigilance and professionalism, you will play a critical role in protecting assets and supporting safe, efficient operations.

Responsibilities for Security Guard in an Industrial site
- Monitor and control access at the Feeder Gate
- Verify vehicle movements, trailers, and authorized personnel
- Conduct active patrols of the gate area and surrounding perimeter
- Protect client's assets, including trailers and vehicles
- Question and document unauthorized or suspicious activity
- Escalate incidents to police first, then notify management as per SOP
- Complete detailed patrol and incident reports
- Maintain constant vigilance during overnight and low-activity periods
Qualifications for Security Guard in an Industrial site

- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Valid BC Security Worker Licence - required.
- First aid certification - an asset.
- Strong written communication and report-writing skills.
- Excellent eyesight and the ability to maintain focus and attention to detail for extended periods.
- Proficient in the use of technology and security-related systems.
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
- Comfortable working independently for extended periods when required.
- Strong situational awareness and sound judgment are essential.
