Location: Virtual, with some face-to-face meetings

Type: Part time, with remuneration and reimbursement of reasonable, relevant expenses.
Introduction
EducateU is growing quickly as an online learning and qualifications provider. As we move into our next stage, we are inviting a small number of experienced industry professionals to join our new Industry Advisory Council, meeting with our leadership roughly once a month to help guide our direction.

EducateU currently delivers short accredited courses and professional qualifications, including Level 7 diplomas, with potential university partnership pipeline in development. We work across the UK and oversee country planned as we expand. We are an early stage business with ambitious growth plans, and we want the people around the table to reflect that ambition.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for senior professionals, current or recently retired from a relevant leadership role. You will bring outside perspective and challenge to our thinking, drawing on real, current experience in your field, and you will be comfortable giving direction to a small, fast moving team.
Ideal Profile by Sector
Technology:
Current or former Heads of Product, Heads of Engineering, or Technology Directors at recognised online learning or EdTech companies, with hands-on experience building or scaling learning platforms and a genuine interest in how AI can be applied to learning delivery and assessment.
Marketing:
Heads of Marketing or Heads of Growth at online learning or subscription education brands, with strong digital acquisition and brand-building experience in a competitive education market.
Education & Qualifications:
Heads of Curriculum, Heads of Academic Quality, or Heads of Qualifications at Ofqual-regulated awarding bodies or higher education providers, with a strong understanding of qualification design and academic quality assurance.

Operations:
Heads of Operations or Operations Directors who have scaled an operating function at an online learning company or a fast-growing small to medium-sized business, and who are comfortable with the realities of an early-stage operating model.
Requirements
- Proven senior leadership experience in one of the sectors above, ideally at a well known online learning, EdTech or education brand.
- Strong communication and strategic thinking, with the ability to give clear, practical guidance rather than abstract advice.
- Comfortable operating without formal authority, in a small team, at an early stage company.
- A genuine interest in supporting a founder led business and helping shape its direction as it scales.
Across every area, we are especially interested in people with a genuine appetite to help EducateU navigate how artificial intelligence is changing online learning delivery, assessment, and qualification design.
