Industry Governance Analyst
Reports to: Industry Governance Manager
Location: Solihull / Hybrid
Job Purpose
To provide administrative support for all aspects of the Joint Office’s operation, including but not limited to: updating website, scheduling meetings, publishing agendas/minutes, taking responsibility for incoming emails, phone calls etc.
- To provide minute/note taking service for industry meetings chaired by the Joint Office.
- To ensure due process is maintained at all times and to facilitate the development of code delivery processes acting as a key interface and trusted advisor with external stakeholders in terms of governance processes.
- To ensure code obligations are met in a timely manner maintaining the Joint Office’s reputation for excellence in code governance.
Key Accountabilities
- Efficiently administer governance processes for maintaining and modifying the commercial gas regime.
- Provide a high-quality minute / note taking service for gas industry meetings chaired by the Joint Office.
- Ensure the Joint Office website is kept up to date with agendas, minutes, meeting dates etc. all published in a timely manner.
- Manage and administer the Joint Office email account ensuring that enquiries etc. are dealt with in a timely and professional manner.
- Provision of data, reports, presentations to support the Joint Office management team.
- Identify areas for improvement in both internal and external code processes.
- In respect of all of the above contribute to the development and maintenance of the Joint Office’s reputation for excellence in code governance.
- Support efficiency by actively engaging in continuous improvement projects

Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant experience in regulated energy markets or related disciplines
- Experience in minute / note taking.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point, SharePoint etc.) and Adobe Acrobat
Knowledge and Experience Required
- Demonstrable competency in PC packages – Microsoft Outlook, Adobe
- Organisational / administrative skills with clear attention to detail.
- Good written / verbal interpersonal and communication skills.
- Collaborative, team player with the ability to adapt and be flexible in tasks undertaken.
- Ability to understand and comply with policies / procedures.
- Experience of working in a regulated industry.

Other Information
- This is a full-time role with hybrid working arrangements.
- Occasional travel may be required for industry meetings, most are on-line but a flexible approach is essential.
