EMEA Industry Marketing Manager / Content Strategist
Location: Flexible - could be based from a Fortinet office within EMEA region
Hybrid working: 4 days per week in office / 1 day remote

Role Overview
We're looking for a Vertical Marketing Manager to drive and elevate our industry-specific messaging, content, and creative strategy across key sectors, including Manufacturing, Energy, and Utilities.
As a critical member of the EMEA ABM & Vertical Marketing team, reporting directly to the EMEA ABM Senior Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing content and messaging strategies that drive brand awareness, thought leadership, demand generation, and sales engagement across strategic accounts and the wider EMEA region.
Working closely with Sales, Field Marketing, Communications, PR, and external partners, you will leverage customer insights, market intelligence, and industry trends to create compelling content that influences buying decisions and strengthens Fortinet's positioning throughout the customer journey.

Key Responsibilities
- Own and execute EMEA vertical-specific messaging frameworks and content strategies aligned with business objectives and solution positioning, supporting primarily (but not exclusively) ABM one-to-one and one-to-few campaigns, industry events, communications, and PR activities.
- Develop and manage a comprehensive vertical content roadmap, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and external agencies. Create, adapt, and optimize content across multiple channels, including email, social media, blogs, executive briefs, eBooks, solution briefs, customer stories, and industry insight reports.
- Conduct ongoing industry and market research to stay ahead of sector trends, customer priorities, regulatory developments, and emerging business challenges across target verticals.
- Translate complex industry topics, cybersecurity trends, solution capabilities, and customer success stories into compelling, accessible, and business-relevant content.
- Understand sales priorities, go-to-market strategies, solution offerings, and existing value propositions, and connect them effectively to industry challenges and customer business outcomes.
- Enable and support field teams (Sales, Marketing, Business Development, and Channel teams) through clear, consistent, and differentiated messaging.
- Measure content effectiveness and provide recommendations to continuously optimize performance, engagement, and business impact.
Core Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in a similar marketing role, ideally within the IT, Networking, Technology, or Cybersecurity industry.
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism, or a related discipline.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English (native or near-native proficiency required). Additional European languages are a plus.
- Proven experience developing and executing content strategies, creating thought-leadership content, and measuring content performance.
- Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines.
- Ability to balance creative thinking with an analytical mindset, combining storytelling skills with data-driven decision-making.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing relationships with external agencies, writers, and creative partners.
- Positive, proactive, and highly collaborative attitude, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience using AI-powered tools for content creation, research, and optimization is highly desirable.
