RSM is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to join RSM on a fixed term contract to grow our Technology and media Industry Group. The group covers sectors including technology, media and telecoms. You will be responsible for developing, delivering and monitoring strategic marketing and business development activity for the industry group and the sectors within. Taking a national view, you will be a key part of the industries marketing team, working with our industry development team, heads of sectors and other key staff and partners to ensure the firm effectively positions its industry expertise, adds value to clients and acquires quality new business and clients.

You'll make an impact by

  • Advising on, developing and delivering the industry marketing strategy, determining the most effective and efficient way of engaging with our audiences, and ensuring a focus on our priority areas of growth
  • Developing and managing the industry marketing budget
  • Leading on and being the face of all industry driven marketing activity
  • Undertaking research to identify industry challenges and opportunities to support marketing activity, aligning these with our own services and solutions
  • Managing industry third party relationships, exploring new and maximising existing partnerships to position the industry appropriately as well as monitoring ROI
  • Actively networking within the industry and build internal and external networks for the benefit of the industry group
  • Developing and maintaining marketing materials to support business development, such as up to date sector information, testimonials and credentials and act as central point for collating innovative ideas and driving best practice

What we're looking for

  • A track record of delivering on marketing and BD campaigns with a results focus
  • A proactive individual, looking to strive to continually improve existing processes
  • A relationship marketer, with a focus on driving long term relationships
  • A commercial approach to using industry as a route to market.
  • Strong understanding of financial performance measures and factors that influence this
  • A professional, credible and confident communicator, with strong influencing skills and the ability to work effectively
  • Excellent project management and coordination skills
