Industry Principal – Quality Engineering & Transformation
Location: London, UK
Role Summary
The Industry Principal is a senior consulting and business leadership role responsible for driving enterprise-wide Quality Engineering (QE) transformation across multiple strategic clients, portfolios, and programs. This role operates at an executive level, serving as a trusted advisor to CIOs, CTOs, Engineering Leaders, and Business Executives while overseeing a portfolio of consulting engagements.
The Industry Principal Consultant is accountable for shaping quality transformation strategies, driving business growth, governing complex multi-program initiatives, building industry-specific solutions, and leading large consulting teams. The role combines deep Quality Engineering expertise, business consulting, AI-led innovation, portfolio governance, client relationship management, and practice leadership to deliver measurable business outcomes and sustained account growth.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Consulting & Strategic Transformation Leadership
- Serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives and technology leadership teams across multiple client accounts.
- Define enterprise-wide Quality Engineering transformation strategies aligned with business and digital transformation objectives.
- Lead large-scale transformation engagements spanning multiple business units, programs, and geographic regions.
- Establish industry-specific quality vision, operating models, governance frameworks, and transformation roadmaps.
- Drive enterprise modernization initiatives including Agile transformation, DevOps adoption, cloud migration, platform modernization, ERP transformation, and AI-enabled quality engineering.
- Conduct executive workshops, assessments, and strategic advisory sessions to influence technology and business decisions.
- Develop long-term client transformation roadmaps and multi-year investment strategies.
Portfolio & Multi-Program Leadership
- Provide executive oversight for multiple client engagements, programs, and transformation initiatives simultaneously.
- Govern multi-million-dollar portfolios encompassing Quality Engineering, Test Automation, Digital Assurance, AI Validation, SAP Testing, Data Testing, and Cloud Validation.
- Ensure alignment of delivery outcomes with business objectives, contractual commitments, and customer success metrics.
- Drive portfolio planning, resource strategy, capacity management, risk governance, and financial performance management.
- Lead steering committee reviews, executive governance forums, and strategic account reviews.
- Enable cross-program standardization, reusable frameworks, and delivery excellence across engagements.
- Oversee delivery quality, operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, revenue growth, and margin performance.

- Drive innovation programs that address emerging customer needs and technology disruptions.
- Create industry points of view, whitepapers, thought leadership assets, and market offerings.
Quality Engineering, AI & Innovation Strategy
- Define enterprise-level Quality Engineering vision and modernization strategies.
- Lead adoption of AI-First Quality Engineering models leveraging Generative AI, Agentic AI, Predictive Analytics, and Autonomous Testing.
- Drive enterprise automation transformation across functional, API, performance, data, security, and cloud testing domains.
- Sponsor development of reusable accelerators, platforms, frameworks, and AI-powered quality solutions.
- Create innovation roadmaps focused on improving productivity, quality outcomes, and cost optimization.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and establish strategic partnerships with leading QE and AI technology providers.
- Guide customers in realizing measurable ROI from AI-led quality transformation initiatives.
Client Leadership & Relationship Management
- Own executive relationships across multiple strategic accounts.
- Act as the primary escalation and governance leader for complex client engagements.
- Build trusted partnerships with business executives, engineering leaders, architecture teams, and program sponsors.
- Influence senior stakeholders through business case development, transformation recommendations, and executive presentations.
- Identify client challenges and proactively shape consulting-led transformation opportunities.
- Drive customer success, account expansion, and long-term strategic partnerships.
Business Growth & Account Expansion
- Lead consulting-led growth initiatives across multiple strategic accounts.
- Identify and create large transformation opportunities, managed services deals, and consulting engagements.
- Drive revenue growth, pipeline generation, account mining, and strategic deal pursuits.
- Own solution strategy for large RFPs, RFIs, proposals, and transformation assessments.
- Collaborate with sales, account teams, and practice leaders to develop winning strategies.
- Support contract negotiations, commercials, investment planning, and business case development.
- Contribute significantly to annual revenue, margin, and portfolio growth targets.
