Industry Sales Specialist
We're looking for an Industry Sales Specialist for our client in England and Wales.
This is a role for someone who knows technical sales and wants ownership of a vertical, managing key accounts, opening new doors, and working alongside the regional sales team to grow the Food & Beverage and Lifescience business across the UK.
What you'll be doing
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients particularly within the Food & Beverage, CPG and Lifescience sector
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across these industry sectors
- Act as the main point of contact for key accounts, handling client needs and questions promptly
- Work with regional teams to build strategic account plans
- Track industry trends, market conditions and competitor activity to spot opportunities
- Hit or exceed sales targets and KPIs through account management and business development
- Work with marketing, product development and customer service to keep the customer experience joined up and drive innovation
- Report regularly on account status, sales performance and market conditions

What we're looking for

- At least 5 years in technical sales within the industrial market
- The ideal candidate will have knowledge selling into the Food & Beverage, Chemical or Lifescience sector
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- A proven track record of hitting sales targets and growing business
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities
- Proficient with CRM software and MS Office
