Position Overview
The Industry Strategy Manager of Digital Project Delivery will play a critical role in supporting a team that defines the strategy and go-to-market growth strategies for Autodesk’s project data management, collaboration, and design management solutions.
You will contribute to a team that defines and executes on the industry strategy, including market opportunity analysis, customer value propositions, competitive analysis, partnerships, target audiences, and business models. You will work with cross-functional teams across Product, Platform, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.
You must possess deep knowledge in BIM, have delivered digital projects across multiple disciplines, and have experience in implementing an ISO 19650 process. This includes managing Common Data Environments (CDE), project information, industry data standards, and data governance and quality. You will need to be an effective communicator who thinks strategically, writes concisely, speaks easily to small and large audiences and is a coalition builder. You must have the appropriate skills to work across a matrixed organization, use data to drive effective business decisions, and bring recommendations forward rather than wait for direction.

Responsibilities
- Contribute to the digital project delivery vision and strategy for Autodesk, informed by internal and external research across the market, competitors, and customer audiences
- Lead cross-functional programs that take a data management initiative from strategy through launch, coordinating across teams to a shared plan and timeline
- Translate ISO 19650 information management practice into product requirements and market-facing positioning
- Work with the strategy team to create business cases to drive sales channels, partnerships, and mergers & acquisitions, and the executive briefings that carry them
- Work with product teams to clearly communicate key customer value propositions and workflow requirements, representing the voice of the customer on price, package, position, and business models
- Monitor business performance; document and report on usage, adoption, customer acquisition and retention, and adjust go-to-market plans
- Build and maintain the business plan for data management growth, including adoption, expansion, and customer migration paths
- Work with sales to develop and achieve success, define and develop appropriate sales plays and tools, and support marketing execution to create the content behind them
- Represent Autodesk within industry organisations and at industry events, including data standards and information management bodies, and as a point of contact for industry specialists, research analysts, key press, and other third parties

Minimum Qualifications
- BS, BEng or equivalent degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of experience working within the AEC industry, or in strategy, product management, consulting, or go-to-market roles serving it
- Demonstrable experience with information management at project or programme scale
- Knowledge in ISO 19650, applied on projects
- Working knowledge of AEC data standards and interoperability, and of how information requirements are defined and validated
- Experience with cloud-based design, collaboration, and management tools targeting architects, engineers, contractors, and owners
- Ability to travel, including internationally

Preferred Qualifications
- MBA
- Knowledge of cloud and SaaS technology and business landscape
- Exceptional customer/market research, analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills
- Experience building business cases and forecasts for a product or portfolio, and reporting results against them to senior leadership
