Kids on Campus Children's Centre is seeking a qualified Infant/Toddler Educator to join our team.

We are a non-profit, licensed child care program dedicated to providing high-quality early learning experiences in a welcoming and inclusive environment. We value collaboration, respectful relationships, and ongoing professional growth for our educators. We are looking for an infant/toddler educator who shares these values and is committed to providing quality care and learning experiences for infants and toddlers.

Qualifications

Post Basic ECE

Additional Qualifications

  • Valid BC Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Certificate to Practice.
  • Valid BC Infant/Toddler Educator (ITE) Certificate to Practice.
  • Current First Aid Certificate.
  • Clear Criminal Record Check.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, inclusive early learning experiences.

Salary & Benefits

  • Starting wage of $23.00 per hour (Step 1 of the Centre's five-step wage grid), with annual wage progression to a maximum of Step 5 for eligible permanent employees.
  • Applicable BC ECE Wage Enhancements.
  • Benefits package for eligible permanent employees following successful completion of the three-month probationary period.

Position Responsibilities

  • Provide a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for infants and toddlers.
  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, play-based learning experiences.
  • Observe and document children's learning and development.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, families, and team members.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging learning environment.
  • Comply with licensing regulations, health and safety requirements, and centre policies.
