Overview
Influencer Account Director - Influential
The Influencer Account Director will be a senior lead across complex UK and regional influencer programmes - bringing strategic clarity, operational confidence and strong client leadership to fast-moving workstreams.
This role is suited to an experienced, hands-on operator who can move confidently between senior client counsel, creative strategy and team direction, commercial judgement and delivery oversight. They will add value beyond day-to-day campaign delivery by helping shape smarter ways of working, stronger influencer outputs and clearer processes for both clients and the wider team.
Responsibilities
What you'll be doing:
- Lead complex influencer programmes, building strong relationships with clients, internal stakeholders and agency partners.
- Turn client objectives, audience insight and platform behaviour into focused influencer strategies and practical recommendations.
- Create clear operational plans covering responsibilities, milestones, budgets, dependencies, approvals and decision-making.
- Guide creator selection, negotiation, contracting, content development, compliance, delivery, reporting and measurement.
- Direct and support multidisciplinary teams, offering clear feedback and helping colleagues resolve campaign challenges.
- Connect influencer activity to media plans, performance measures and wider business objectives, translating results into compelling stories.
- Identify opportunities to improve ways of working, develop new creator formats and strengthen Influential’s offer through pitches, proactive ideas and scalable frameworks.

Skills we're looking for:
- Substantial experience in influencer marketing, creator marketing, social media or integrated marketing, including responsibility for complex client programmes.
- A strong understanding of creator campaigns, from talent management and content approvals to compliance, reporting and measurement.
- The ability to develop strategies grounded in audience insight, cultural context, platform behaviour and commercial objectives.
- Clear and collaborative client communication, with the judgement to offer constructive challenge and build trusted partnerships.
- Experience managing budgets, scopes of work, forecasts and delivery models with sound commercial awareness.
- Analytical thinking and the ability to turn data, trends and campaign learning into persuasive recommendations.
- Curiosity about creators, communities and evolving platforms, combined with an inclusive approach to teamwork and developing others.
