Job Description
THE ROLE
The Influencer Manager plays an essential role in supporting the Head of Influencer in defining, growing, and managing the MBCS influencer offer. As part of the MBCS team, you will manage the execution of multiple influencer campaigns across a range of clients. Your role requires a strong understanding of what makes influencer campaigns effective and a flair for generating new business. At MBCS, we aim for excellence and view each new project as an opportunity to set new industry standards.
Core Responsibilities

Strategic planning and implementation
- Work closely with the Head of Influencer to refine and implement influencer strategies, ensuring they align with our clients’ media strategies and campaign objectives.
- Develop detailed project plans to turn ideas into successful campaigns.

Creative ideation and execution
- Contribute to the creative development of influencer campaigns with innovative ideas that meet our clients’ strategic objectives.
- Translate these ideas into actionable campaign elements that deliver on effectiveness.

Influencer engagement
- Identify, engage, and manage influencer talent, ensuring an excellent fit with our client’s requirements and the wider strategic framework laid out by Strategy and Comms Design Directors.
- Maintain a proactive approach to managing talent, ensuring ongoing positive relationships and identifying new and exciting talent opportunities on an ongoing basis.

Campaign Management Excellence
- Oversee the detail of campaign management, including timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional coordination.
- Ensure each campaign component works in harmony to create a compelling narrative that aligns with our clients’ brand objectives.

In-depth Insights
- Stay ahead of trends, consumer behavior, and cultural shifts in the influencer sector, using them to inform strategic decisions and provide a competitive edge in our campaign offerings.

Cross-Disciplinary Teamwork
- Facilitate strong working relationships across different departments.
- Act as the connective tissue between MBCS and our partners within the Mediabrands family, including Strategy, Comms Design, and Analytics.

Budget Oversight
- Manage campaign budgets with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness.
- Work with the Head of Influencer to review financial models and pricing strategies, ensuring the most beneficial terms for our clients.
Desired Skills And Experience
- Strong experience in an influencer manager role, or related field, with demonstrated expertise in managing multiple, complex influencer campaigns.
- Excellent people skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong, positive relationships quickly.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
- Required PC proficiency and solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Keynote.
- Ability to work successfully within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Excellent presentation skills.
