More about the role:

The Influencer Strategist (AD) will provide strategic delivery across influencer and creator communications for a portfolio of clients and sectors.

This role is responsible for defining the strategic role of influencers within integrated communications programs. You will translate client and audience challenges into clear influencer strategies, audience frameworks, creator ecosystems, channel recommendations, and measurement approaches.

Working closely with clients, you will act as a trusted strategic advisor, helping them understand how influencers can support their business and communications objectives. You will work alongside account teams ensuring strategic thinking is applied consistently across briefs, creative development, activation, and evaluation.

The role requires a strong understanding of the evolving influencer landscape, including creator communities, platform behaviors, cultural trends, audience motivations, and the changing relationship between brands and talent. You will bring sound judgement, creativity, and strategic rigor to help clients make better decisions about influence.

What you'll do:

  • Develop insight-led influencer strategies that align creator activity with broader communications and business objectives.
  • Build audience frameworks and creator ecosystems, identifying the right mix of influencers, experts, advocates, and community voices.
  • Shape cross-platform influencer strategies across social, video, podcast, live, and emerging channels.
  • Lead influencer planning, creator selection, partnership frameworks, and content strategies that drive effective creative work.
  • Provide senior counsel on creator partnerships, governance, compliance, brand safety, and influencer risk management.
  • Build trusted client relationships, leading workshops, presentations, and strategic discussions.
  • Drive organic growth and new business opportunities, including pitch and proposal development.
  • Partner with PR, creative, paid, corporate affairs, and analytics teams to deliver integrated campaigns and measurable business impact.

Experience that contributes to success:

  • Senior Experience: A proven track record leading influencer marketing, social media within an agency or client-side environment.
  • Set Strategic Standards: Contribute to best practice across influencer planning, creator selection, audience strategy, cultural insight, governance, and measurement.
  • Influencer Tech Stack & Analytics: Hands-on familiarity with influencer discovery, social listening, and analytics platforms (e.g., CreatorIQ, Brandwatch, Traackr, or equivalent).
  • Communications & Presentation Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes and articulate creative strategies with clarity and authority.
