This is a fantastic opportunity for designers who love transforming complex stories, data, and information into clear, impactful infographics. Whether your background is editorial design, information design, newspapers, or digital graphics, this team is looking for designers with a brilliant eye for clarity, layout, and visual storytelling.

We're hiring two Infographic Designers to join a growing team creating graphics across both digital and print, working at the heart of one of the UK's busiest newsrooms.

You'll create everything from breaking news explainers and data visualisations through to graphics for the next day's newspaper, collaborating directly with reporters, editors, and the wider visual storytelling team.

What they're looking for

  • Experience creating infographics or information-led design
  • Adobe Creative Suite experience, particularly Illustrator (InDesign a bonus)
  • Ability to simplify complex information into clear, engaging visuals
  • Comfortable working under deadline in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong layout, typography, and visual communication skills
  • Digital and print design experience (or the desire to learn print production)
  • Data visualisation, motion graphics, or mapping experience would be a bonus
