Infor M3 Functional Consultant - Manufacturing
Location: Remote
Employment Type: Permanent
We are working with a global manufacturing and engineering organisation undergoing a major, multi-year ERP transformation.
The business is moving from a number of legacy systems to a single global Infor M3 platform, and they are looking for an experienced Implementation Expert to take ownership of the manufacturing, planning and scheduling processes within the programme.
This is a key role within the global ERP team, acting as the subject matter expert for manufacturing and production processes and helping to deliver a standardised global solution across multiple sites.
The role:
You will work across the full implementation lifecycle, from understanding current processes and identifying gaps through to solution design, M3 configuration, testing, data migration, training and post-go-live improvement. You will also work with connected systems including advanced planning & scheduling, shop-floor data capture and business intelligence solutions.
Key responsibilities:
- Own the design and implementation of manufacturing, production planning and scheduling processes within the global ERP solution.
- Analyse existing site processes and identify gaps against the global target operating model.
- Configure and improve M3 processes to support standardised ways of working.
- Support planning, scheduling and manufacturing execution, including interfacing systems.
- Lead requirements gathering, process design and solution definition.
- Support system, integration and end-user testing, including UAT and conference room pilots.
- Lead data migration activities, including data mapping, cleansing and reconciliation.
- Develop process and technical documentation and deliver end-user training.
- Work with third-party suppliers on integrations, shop-floor and business intelligence solutions.
- Support cutover, go-live and post-go-live activities.
- Develop KPIs and reporting to measure process adherence and operational improvements.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and help realise the benefits of the transformation.
- Work across M3 and Preactor, including requirements, configuration, testing, data, integrations, documentation and user training.

About you:
We're looking for someone with:
- Extensive ERP implementation experience within discrete manufacturing, ideally engineering.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing, production planning and scheduling processes.
- Experience delivering ERP transformation or global ERP implementations.
- Infor M3 or Movex experience is highly desirable, although strong experience with other ERP platforms will be considered.
- Experience working across multiple sites within a global manufacturing/distribution environment.
- Strong business process analysis and continuous improvement skills.
- Experience with ERP configuration, testing, data migration and go-live.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work from shop-floor and operational teams through to senior leadership.
- Strong analytical skills, including Excel and SQL.
- A pragmatic, hands-on approach with the ability to take ownership and see activities through to completion.

The opportunity:
This is a genuine business transformation role, rather than simply an ERP support position. You'll play a key part in shaping how manufacturing and planning processes operate across a global organisation and will have significant exposure to senior stakeholders and international project teams.
