Your new company

You will be working for a known organisation who are looking for an Informatica Engineer who is actively SC Cleared. This role won't be able to accept anyone who doesn't hold active SC clearance. This is a 6-month rolling contract and paying £600 per day inside IR35. The role is fully remote working.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter, IICS, or related Informatica technologies.
  • Build and optimise data integration solutions across multiple source systems and data platforms.
  • Support data migration, transformation and cleansing activities.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including data mappings and solution designs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring service stability and performance.
  • Collaborate with architects, business analysts, developers and data teams to deliver project objectives.
  • Perform code reviews and promote best practices in ETL development and data quality.
  • Ensure solutions comply with security, governance and data management standards.
  • Support testing activities, including system integration testing and user acceptance testing.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong commercial experience with Informatica PowerCenter and/or Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).
  • Proven experience designing and developing ETL and data integration solutions.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with data migration, data warehousing and data quality processes.
  • Understanding of data modelling principles and metadata management.
  • Experience working within agile delivery environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience within Central Government, Defence, Policing, Healthcare or wider Public Sector organisations.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with data governance frameworks and Master Data Management (MDM).
  • Knowledge of Python, scripting or API integrations.
