Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Informatica Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support a major data transformation and cloud migration programme.

The successful candidate will provide deep Informatica expertise, ensuring ETL and data integration pipelines are successfully re-engineered and data is migrated reliably into a cloud data warehouse.

This is a senior technical position requiring strong hands-on Informatica knowledge alongside the ability to advise on architecture, define migration approaches and provide technical guidance to engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide deep subject matter expertise across Informatica PowerCenter and IICS.
  • Advise on Informatica architecture, mappings and re-platforming approaches.
  • Define the approach for ETL migration, source-to-target mapping and data validation.
  • Support the migration and re-engineering of existing data integration pipelines into a cloud data environment.
  • Ensure pipeline and data integrity throughout migration and dual-running activities.
  • Support the production of High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs) for Informatica components.
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation and knowledge articles.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to Informatica engineers.
  • Troubleshoot complex Informatica and data integration issues.
  • Support effective knowledge transfer across the programme.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
