About the Practice
The Data Analytics & AI (DAA) Practice represents a growing capability within Atos and comprises a talented team of analysts, developers, consultants, architects, and data specialists delivering solutions across the entire information management lifecycle.
We help organisations unlock greater value from their data through data engineering, integration, analytics, cloud transformation, and modern data platforms. About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Informatica Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide deep technical leadership and consultancy throughout the discovery, design, migration, and implementation phases of major data transformation programmes.
You will be responsible for ensuring Informatica workloads, mappings, integrations, and data pipelines are successfully re-platformed to modern cloud-based environments while maintaining data quality, integrity, and operational continuity.
Working closely with architects, data engineers, project teams, and business stakeholders, you will define migration strategies, assure technical delivery, validate outcomes, and support the successful adoption of new solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance on Informatica architecture, mappings, integration patterns, and cloud re-platforming approaches.
- Define ETL migration strategies, source-to-target mapping methodologies, and validation approaches in collaboration with delivery teams.
- Support the development of High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs), technical documentation, and knowledge articles.
- Assure data pipeline integrity throughout migration, testing, validation, and dual-running activities.
- Mentor and guide Informatica engineers and project teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Skills We Can't Do Without
- Extensive experience with Informatica PowerCenter and/or Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).
- Strong expertise in ETL development, data integration, and source-to-target data mapping.
- Proven experience delivering data migration, validation, reconciliation, and data quality initiatives.
- Strong understanding of enterprise data architectures and integration patterns.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, mentoring, and knowledge transfer capabilities.

Skills We'd Like
- Experience migrating data integration workloads to cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Knowledge of modern data engineering, data warehousing, and analytics ecosystems.
Additional Requirements
- Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain SC clearance.
- Location: UK-based.
- Hybrid working model with onsite attendance required based on project and client needs.
- National mobility may be required for client engagements.
