Talented people are the key to our success.

Morgan Sindall Infrastructure is looking for an organised and proactive Information Controller to join our Energy Business Unit, supporting major transmission and distribution infrastructure programmes delivered on behalf of SP Energy Networks (SPEN) and Scottish & Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN).

These long-term framework programmes are helping to strengthen the UK's electricity network, supporting network resilience, decarbonisation and the transition to a low-carbon future. Working across projects from mobilisation and pre-construction through to delivery and final handover, you will play a vital role in ensuring project information is effectively controlled, managed and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

As an Information Controller, you will work closely with project teams, clients and supply chain partners to ensure accurate, reliable and accessible project information is available when needed. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing Information Management function and contribute to the successful delivery of some of Scotland's most significant energy infrastructure projects while gaining exposure to industry-leading digital delivery and information management practices.

Role Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain project information within Common Data Environments (CDEs) and document management systems.
  • Ensure project documentation, drawings, models and records are processed in accordance with agreed workflows, procedures and governance requirements.
  • Coordinate information exchanges between project teams, clients, designers and supply chain partners.
  • Support the implementation of information management standards, naming conventions and document quality requirements.
  • Monitor document status and facilitate timely reviews, approvals and submissions.
  • Produce reports, metrics and other information management outputs to support project compliance and performance monitoring.
  • Support project mobilisation activities, including system setup, access permissions and information governance requirements.
  • Assist with the preparation, compilation and transfer of project information during closeout and handover activities.
  • Maintain the quality, accuracy, accessibility and traceability of project information across multiple projects.
  • Work closely with Information Managers, Project Managers, Design Managers, Engineers and Construction Teams to support efficient project delivery.
  • Ensure information is managed in accordance with company procedures, project requirements and industry best practice.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Information Management function.
  • Support the adoption of digital delivery and information management processes across projects and programmes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
