We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Information Controller to join our project team on a major regional scheme. The successful candidate will provide setup support while managing and maintaining the project Common Data Environment (CDE) in line with company, client, and project standards.

Role Responsibilities

As An Information Controller, You Will

  • Coordinate all Information Management processes in line with ISO 19650, including technical documents, drawings, and commercial correspondence.
  • Ensure permissions and systems are set up efficiently and maintained, feeding into documents such as the project MIDP to manage all project documentation.
  • Input document data into standard registers, ensuring information is accurate and up to date, and distribute controlled documents to relevant staff, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Issue and receive controlled documentation, log distributions, and create electronic transmittals for the project team, clients, and suppliers in line with company standards and procedures.
  • Support the Information Management team with issuing, receiving, and tracking engineering and supplier deliverables through to project close:out and handover.
  • Perform administrative duties including photocopying, scanning, quality checking metadata and documents, and assisting with audits of document databases to correct anomalies.
  • Maintain accurate document registers and action lists while ensuring team compliance with document control and numbering procedures.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for Information Management queries, providing practical support and system training to team members.

Skills, Experience, And Qualifications

  • Previous Information Management or Document Control experience.
  • Proficiency in M365 applications and maintaining accurate records.
  • Experience setting up and using electronic document management systems (e.g., Trimble Viewpoint for Projects or similar CDE platforms).
  • Strong capability to keep clear records, rapidly input data, and efficiently retrieve information.
  • Educated to NVQ level or equivalent.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
