Are you an experienced information governance, privacy or data protection professional looking for a part-time role where your expertise can shape safe, ethical and innovative care services?
Livity Life is looking for an Information Governance & Data Protection Lead (DPO) to lead our approach to data protection, privacy and information governance across our health, social care and technology-enabled care services.
Pay Rate
£26,500 GBP – £27,000 GBP (annum)
This is a remote UK-based role, with travel to Worcester around 2–3 times per month. The role is part-time, with working hours to be discussed at interview.
In this key specialist position, you’ll provide expert advice on information sharing, data protection compliance, privacy and regulatory requirements—helping us manage risk, embed best practice and enable high-quality, technology-enabled care. You’ll:
- Lead our organisation-wide approach to information governance, privacy and data protection
- Ensure compliance with UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and related legislation
- Provide expert guidance to leaders and teams on data sharing, privacy and regulatory matters
- Oversee information rights requests, data sharing agreements and data protection impact assessments
- Advise on emerging technologies, including AI, and their information governance implications
- Support the management of information security incidents and engagement with regulatory bodies

What we’re looking for:
- Experience in a Data Protection, Information Governance, Privacy or DPO role
- Strong understanding of UK GDPR and data protection compliance
- Experience completing DPIAs and managing information governance processes
- Confident stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Ability to advise on risk, compliance, incident response and organisational change
