Information Governance Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Information Governance Manager to join South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust.
The Information Governance Manager will support the delivery of the Trust's Information Governance framework, providing specialist advice and guidance on data protection, confidentiality, information security, records management and information sharing. The post holder will work across the organisation to promote compliance with legislation, NHS standards and best practice, ensuring that information is handled lawfully, securely and effectively.
This role offers the opportunity to work with a wide range of stakeholders, supporting governance, risk management and organisational improvement initiatives whilst helping to maintain high standards of compliance and information security.
About You
We are looking for an experienced Information Governance professional with excellent knowledge of Data Protection legislation, Information Governance principles and NHS standards. You will possess strong communication, analytical and organisational skills, with the ability to influence, advise and work effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organisation.

The Information Governance Manager Will
- Provide specialist advice and support on Information Governance matters across the Trust.
- Support compliance with Data Protection legislation, confidentiality requirements and NHS Information Governance standards.
- Lead on the management and investigation of Information Governance incidents and breaches.
- Support the development, implementation and review of Information Governance policies, procedures and guidance.
- Deliver Information Governance training and awareness programmes.
- Undertake audits, monitoring activities and compliance reviews.
- Support the management of Data Subject Access Requests and other information requests.
- Contribute to the completion of national Information Governance requirements, including the Data Security and Protection Toolkit.
- Prepare reports, action plans and performance information for governance groups and committees.
- Work collaboratively with clinical, operational and corporate services to provide expert Information Governance advice.
