Job Description

The post holder will play a key role in proactively developing the effective use and interpretation of information to support Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber (RDaSH) NHS Foundation Trust.

Role Overview

The role encompasses:

• Collation, analysis, and interpretation of information and reporting requests across a wide variety of operational services
• Development of routine and ad hoc reports presented in a clear and understandable format
• Supporting managers and clinicians in defining their information requirements to meet strategic, operational, and clinical needs

Responsibilities

• To provide support a high-quality information management service and engage with clinicians, senior managers, and colleagues from a wide range of teams and services to support them in their use and interpretation of information.
• Business analysis of clinical and management information and reporting requests to support business planning and performance improvement.
• Main duties of this post are to undertake business analysis and scoping for new information and reporting requirements.
• The postholder will be expected to collate, analyse, and interpret clinical and management information requests from a wide variety of sources and across a range of operational services.
• The postholder will work with tools such as SQL, Power BI, and SSRS and will need to proactively engage with colleagues in the Trust and other key contacts to achieve a shared understanding of information requirements and support the development of effective working relationships.
• The postholder will be expected to provide technical expertise to staff within the Information team and other colleagues as appropriate on a range of topics, for example, highly complex queries to extract datasets, creating reports, using advanced features of reporting systems/software.
