We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Information Manager to join our team supporting the National Grid Electricity Transmission Partnership (ETP) Framework. With a strong pipeline of secured work across major energy infrastructure projects, this is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering information management excellence on complex and high-profile schemes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing, coordinating, and assuring the effective application of information management processes across the project lifecycle. Working closely with project teams, Information Controllers, clients, and supply chain partners, you will help drive compliant, consistent, and high-quality information delivery aligned with project requirements, digital strategies, and industry best practice.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to early contractor involvement (ECI) projects and support the successful delivery of critical energy infrastructure while continuing to develop your expertise and professional career.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and delivery of information management strategies across the full project lifecycle.
- Manage and maintain Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms to ensure effective control and accessibility of project information.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 19650 standards and project-specific information management requirements.
- Support Information Controllers and wider project teams in the effective management and governance of project information.
- Coordinate information exchanges between clients, designers, contractors, and suppliers.
- Monitor information quality, governance, and compliance, ensuring timely delivery of project documentation and digital assets.
- Facilitate effective collaboration across multidisciplinary project teams and stakeholders.
- Lead asset information management and project handover activities.
- Produce information management reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
- Deliver training, guidance, and support to project teams on information management processes and systems.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance information management performance and project outcomes.

Essential Skills, Experience and Qualifications
- Experience managing project information within large-scale infrastructure, engineering, or construction projects.
- Practical experience implementing information management processes in line with ISO 19650 principles and standards.
- Experience managing and administering Common Data Environment (CDE) workflows.
- Ability to support project teams, Information Controllers, and delivery partners in achieving information management objectives.
- Strong understanding of information governance, quality assurance, and compliance requirements.
- Experience collaborating with clients, contractors, and supply chain partners to support successful information delivery and asset handover.
- Experience using: Viewpoint for Projects, Field View, and SharePoint.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively within complex, multidisciplinary project environments.
Desirable
- Familiarity with Power BI and data analytics tools.
- Experience mentoring, supporting, or managing Information Controllers or other information management professionals.
- Experience working within contractor-client framework environments.
- Knowledge of digital engineering, asset information management, and continuous improvement methodologies.

About The Energy Business Unit
We have extensive experience in upgrading and replacing energy networks, delivering asset management for major UK energy companies and network operators.
Our transmission and distribution services involve the upgrading and replacement of electricity assets both above and below ground. Within the electricity sector we install and maintain assets, including excavation, laying, and jointing of cables, (fluid filled and XLPe), substations and overhead line, new build, repair, and refurbishment services.
