Amey Consulting – Information Manager

We have a fantastic opportunity for an Information Manager to join our Engineering team within Consulting, supporting the National Highways portfolio.

This primary focus and objectives will sit within the National Highways account and framework portfolio. The role is designed to bring greater clarity, consistency, and control to how we manage information, social value commitments, tender activity, framework reporting, and portfolio data.

The Information Manager will play a critical role in supporting the successful management of Amey’s National Highways portfolio, acting as a central point of reference for account information, framework data, tender coordination, CRM records, and social value planning.

The role provides day-to-day information management and coordination support to the National Highways Delivery Director and wider account team, ensuring opportunities, reporting requirements, social value commitments, and key portfolio data are accurately captured, maintained, and visible.

The Information Manager will support the mobilisation and administration of approved opportunities, helping the account team work efficiently and consistently across bidding, reporting, governance, and client commitments.

What you will be doing

National Highways Portfolio Information Management

  • Act as a central point of reference for National Highways portfolio data, account information, and framework records.
  • Maintain accurate trackers, registers, and forward-look information covering opportunities, tenders, mobilisation activity, submissions, and framework reporting requirements.
  • Ensure portfolio information is accurate, current, accessible, and auditable.
  • Support consistent use of CRM and other account management systems to capture pipeline, client, opportunity, and reporting information.

Social Value Planning and Utilisation

  • Track social value utilisation across the National Highways account, ensuring commitments, activities, and outcomes are visible and up to date.
  • Support the planning of future social value opportunities, helping the account team identify where commitments can be delivered effectively.
  • Maintain and update social value plans for the National Highways account.
  • Coordinate with relevant colleagues to ensure social value information is captured for bids, reporting, and governance requirements.

Tender, Bid, and Framework Coordination

  • Receive and distribute new tenders to the appropriate internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Set up bid sites and support bid mobilisation once opportunities are approved.
  • Support tender administration through relevant portals and systems, including Jaggaer and CRM.
  • Coordinate the uploading, issuing, and tracking of bid submissions in line with framework requirements.
  • Provide practical framework support to help the account team maintain control of deadlines, actions, and information flows.
  • Support regular framework reporting, keeping trackers up to date and ensuring key information is available to support governance, assurance, and account decision-making.

We want to hear from you if you have:

  • Experience in information management, coordination, PMO, framework support, account support, or a related discipline.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, stakeholders, and information sources.
  • High attention to detail and confidence maintaining accurate trackers, registers, reports, and management information.
  • Experience using CRM systems, bid portals, document management systems, or structured reporting tools.
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders and providing clear, reliable information to support decision-making.
  • Experience supporting bids, tenders, mobilisation activity, frameworks, or complex client accounts would be beneficial.
  • An understanding of social value planning, utilisation tracking, or client reporting commitments would be desirable.
  • Experience working in regulated, public-sector, or compliance-led environments would be beneficial.
