Information Manager - Construction

We're looking for an Information Manager to join our Construction team within our Kier Strategic Projects business.

Location: Flexible (We are open to candidates based in any location)

Hours: Full time permanent (Flexibility available)

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

This Information Manager role will focus on adopting our information management process across projects, ensuring compliance with industry and Kier standards, focusing on ISO 19650, and helping to deliver against client requirements. As part of the information management team, you will have over 30 industry professionals around you to support with queries and ensure your ambitions are realised.

What will you be responsible for?

As An Information Manager, You'll Be Working Within The Kier Strategic Projects Team, Supporting Them In Delivering Compliance With ISO 19650 And The Building Safety Act. Your Day To Day Will Include

  • Implementing our Digital by Default strategy for information management including the systems and processes for the CDE across all live projects
  • Conducting audits and generating reports for compliance on live projects, working with project teams to close out any corrective action required
  • Providing ongoing management of information coordinators including mentoring, training and the PPR process
  • Leading CDE launch meetings and delivering training to project teams and stakeholders
  • Acting as the business unit point of contact for queries and troubleshooting in respect of the CDE and information control

What are we looking for?

This role of Information Manager is great for you if:

  • You have demonstrative capability of delivering ISO 19650 across projects
  • You are proficient in the management of EDMS configured to CDE principles (Asite preferred)
  • You have experience of working on projects with large volumes of data and information from various sources
  • You can communicate effectively with multidisciplinary design teams, client teams and sub-contractors with the ability to educate all stakeholders
  • You are well organised and self-motivated with the ability to prioritise work, multitask and troubleshoot
