Information Modeller

๐Ÿ’ฐ ยฃ400/day (Inside IR35)
๐Ÿ“ Warwick (3 days per week onsite)
๐Ÿ“… 6-Month Contract

Our client is looking for an experienced Information Modeller to support information architecture, data modelling and governance activities within a complex technology environment. You will work closely with subject matter experts, architects and stakeholders to develop high-quality information models, support data governance and translate business and technical requirements into structured models and schemas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop information models using UML, BPMN and ArchiMate notation.
  • Create and maintain models using Sparx Enterprise Architect.
  • Develop static, integration, process and interaction models.
  • Work with SMEs to validate and refine information models.
  • Support solution architecture across business, infrastructure and functional domains.
  • Develop and support data governance, standards and compliance frameworks.
  • Manage knowledge assets, metadata and information lifecycle activities.
  • Support data quality measurement and assessment initiatives.
  • Develop physical schemas for relational databases, including constraints and historical data.
  • Create API interaction diagrams and HTTP message payloads for GET, POST, PUT, PATCH and DELETE operations.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience with UML, BPMN and ArchiMate.
  • Proficiency with Sparx Enterprise Architect.
  • Strong information/data modelling experience.
  • Understanding of data governance, metadata management and compliance.
  • Experience designing relational database schemas.
  • Understanding of API/integration modelling and HTTP methods.
  • Ability to work with SMEs and technical stakeholders to validate models.
  • Strong documentation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
