Information Security Governance Analyst
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Information Security Governance Analyst to join a growing technology organisation experiencing significant expansion across its products, services and customer base.
Reporting to the Information Security Manager, you will play a key role in providing assurance and governance across information security practices. You will support the organisation's commitment to maintaining strong security controls and meeting the requirements of clients operating within highly regulated environments.
This is a hybrid role, combining remote working with regular office attendance. The successful candidate will be expected to attend the office at least once per week, with additional attendance as required for business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the customer assurance response process, ensuring the timely completion of security questionnaires, due diligence requests and customer information security enquiries.
- Plan, conduct and report on internal governance and assurance audits, driving corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives through to completion.
- Manage third-party information security risk assessments and monitor the remediation of identified risks.
- Assess and validate the effectiveness of information security controls across people, processes and technology.
- Maintain and enhance the Information Security Management System (ISMS), ensuring policies, standards and governance procedures remain current and effective.
- Monitor, evaluate and improve supporting security activities, incorporating lessons learned from audits, business continuity testing and security incidents.
- Produce compliance reports, dashboards and KPIs to demonstrate security and governance performance.
- Support the integration of security requirements into business and project activities by providing guidance and practical recommendations.
- Drive the closure of information security actions and recommendations arising from audits, reviews and business processes.
- Set and achieve personal objectives aligned to wider business goals and strategic priorities.
