Role Overview
The role offers the opportunity to develop broad expertise across information security, cyber resilience, risk management, and governance within a dynamic banking environment.
The successful candidate will gain exposure to strategic initiatives, senior stakeholder engagement, and regulatory requirements, providing a strong foundation for career progression into senior Information Security, Risk Management, Governance, and Resilience leadership roles.
Essential Requirements
- 4+ years' experience in information and cyber security, preferably within banking or regulated financial services.
- Strong experience managing ISO 27001 ISMS, security risk assessments, audit and regulatory engagements.
- Sound understanding of data protection governance, operational resilience, and third-party risk management.
- Sufficient technical cyber security knowledge to engage with and challenge Security Operations teams on incidents, vulnerabilities, threat intelligence, cloud security, and security controls.
- Experience producing management reports.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to challenge constructively and influence decisions.

- Security Operations (SOC), SIEM, and incident response.
- Vulnerability management and threat intelligence.
- Identity & Access Management (IAM) and privileged access controls.
- Data protection and DLP controls.
- Cloud security, particularly AWS.
- Security monitoring, detection, and response processes.
- Security architecture and control design principles.
