About Origina

Origina is a rapidly growing global challenger technology company on a mission to stop unnecessary technology change by helping enterprises to extend, protect and enhance their software assets. We believe organisations should be free to run their systems for as long as they choose - without being pushed into costly, unwanted upgrades that don’t align with their strategy, so we step in to provide an alternative from the original vendor.

We’re scaling fast, with a clear path to €0.5 billion in the next five years, and expanding our presence across Europe, the US, and Australia. As a leading force in independent enterprise software support, we help the world’s largest organisations take back control of their technology roadmap and unlock genuine commercial freedom.

If you’re energised by growth, excited by change, and motivated to help customers challenge long-standing industry norms, this is the team to join. At Origina, you’ll be part of a bold, fast-moving global business where your impact will be felt immediately.

Role Purpose

Act as Origina's senior technical and operational cyber-security lead and principal deputy to the Head of Information Security.

This is a senior practitioner role requiring the technical depth and judgement to independently manage significant security activities, lead technical incident response, provide security architecture expertise and deputise for the Head across core information and cyber-security responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and improve Microsoft Sentinel/SIEM, Defender XDR and associated monitoring capabilities.
  • Maintain detection, alerting, threat analytics and escalation processes.
  • Provide security architecture expertise across Microsoft 365, Azure, SaaS, endpoints and applications.
  • Lead technical implementation across Entra ID, Conditional Access, Zero Trust, privileged access, Defender, Purview and Global Secure Access.

Threat, Vulnerability & Incident Management

  • Coordinate vulnerability scanning, penetration testing and remediation.
  • Assess emerging threats and Origina's exposure to significant vulnerabilities.
  • Lead technical investigation, containment, recovery and root-cause analysis during incidents.
  • Maintain security runbooks and track corrective actions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
