My client, a leading alternative investment firm, is seeking a Security Engineer to join their growing cybersecurity team in London.
The successful candidate will join a dynamic, technically driven team responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge security solutions across the business. This is a broad, hands-on role encompassing:
- Identity and Access Management (IAM)
- Device security
- Vulnerability management
- Incident response
With a strong emphasis on building secure-by-default, zero trust environments at scale.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience, with strong proficiency in IAM tooling such as:

Alongside solid exposure to cloud platforms including:
- Azure
- AWS
Candidates should be comfortable leading vulnerability management programs, scripting in Python, and working closely with infrastructure teams. Experience with container orchestration platforms - particularly Kubernetes, including securing workloads, managing RBAC, network policies, and secrets management - is highly desirable, as is a background in security operations or incident response and familiarity with threat intelligence and TTP frameworks.
