Information Security Lead - Liverpool - Onsite - £60,000-£65,000 + Strong Benefits
Role Summary
The Information Security Lead is responsible for supporting and enhancing the organisation's information security framework, ensuring systems, data and services are protected against cyber threats and regulatory risks. Working closely with Technology, Risk and Compliance teams, the role leads security governance, risk management, incident response and security awareness activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve information security controls and policies.
- Support ISO 27001 and Information Security Management System (ISMS) activities.
- Conduct security risk assessments and manage remediation actions.
- Lead security incident response and continuous improvement activities.
- Manage vulnerability, supplier and third-party security risks.
- Deliver security awareness and training programmes.
- Support audit, compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Produce security and risk reporting for business stakeholders.

Essential Experience
- Information Security or Cyber Security experience.
- ISO 27001 and security governance knowledge.
- Security risk assessment and control implementation.
- Incident response and vulnerability management.
- Supplier security assurance and audit support.
- Cloud, Microsoft 365 and identity security experience.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
