We're looking for an Information Security Manager to support and continuously improve our Information Security Management System (ISMS), security governance framework and compliance activities.
Reporting to the Head of Information Security & Continuity, this role will play a key part in managing information security risk, maintaining security policies and standards, supporting audits, and ensuring security controls remain effective across the business.
This is primarily a governance, risk and compliance focused role. Whilst a good understanding of technology and security controls is required, this is not a hands-on infrastructure, engineering or security operations position.

- Conduct information security risk assessments and maintain risk registers.
- Develop, review and maintain security policies, standards and procedures.
- Support internal and external audits, including ISO 27001 certification activities.
- Manage third-party and supplier security assurance processes.
- Track remediation of audit findings, vulnerabilities and security risks.
- Deliver and improve security awareness and training initiatives.
- Work with Technology and project teams to ensure security is considered throughout change activities.
- Provide reporting on security risks, compliance and control effectiveness to key stakeholders.
- Support information security incident reviews and lessons learned activities.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with relevant regulatory and data protection requirements.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
