Information Security Manager - Remote - North West England - Exclusive Role

£70,000 to £75,000

Information Security Manager reporting directly to the COO, working closely with the technology teams, for this SaaS business. This role is the key security role for this organisation so you will engage extensively with both the business and technology.

The Information Security Manager will lead and mature the information security governance, risk, and control framework across the organisation. With ISO27001 certification and SOC 2 compliance already in place, this role is responsible for maintaining, improving, and embedding best-practice security standards as they continue to scale.

This role is ideal for an experienced security professional ready to step into a broader leadership role, or for someone with strong foundational experience seeking an opportunity to develop into a company-wide position reporting into ExCo.

As the Information Security Manager you will:

  • Own and evolve the Information Security Management System, ensuring continued alignment with ISO27001 and SOC 2 requirements.
  • Lead governance, risk, and compliance activities, including policy management, risk assessments, control testing, and audit readiness.
  • Oversee security incident management, ensuring effective response, reporting, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive security awareness and training, embedding a strong security culture across all teams.
  • Support secure product and service delivery, working closely with engineering, operations, and commercial teams to ensure security-by-design.
  • Lead internal audits, manage external audits and assessments, acting as the primary point of contact for certification bodies and customer security teams.
  • Lead the Information Security Management Group and report on security posture, risks, and improvements to senior leadership.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
