IT Systems & Support Administrator

Are you passionate about supporting enterprise IT infrastructure, troubleshooting complex technology challenges, and ensuring reliable systems that enable business success?
We are seeking a skilled Systems Administrator / IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our technology team. In this role, you will support and maintain enterprise systems, servers, endpoint devices, and core IT services while helping drive operational excellence across the organization's technology environment.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable technology solutions, support infrastructure modernization initiatives, and provide exceptional technical support to business users.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, maintain, and support enterprise server, infrastructure, and endpoint environments.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security to ensure reliable business operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network connectivity, authentication, printing, and application-related issues.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, directory services, and identity management processes.
- Support infrastructure services including networking, backups, patch management, monitoring, and disaster recovery activities.
- Assist with technology upgrades, platform migrations, system implementations, and infrastructure improvement projects.
- Maintain and support collaboration, productivity, and cloud-based technology platforms.
- Implement and follow cybersecurity controls, security best practices, and change management procedures.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, system configurations, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with vendors, business stakeholders, and internal teams to resolve technical issues and support business initiatives.
- Participate in system monitoring, incident response, and operational support activities as needed.

Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, certifications, training, and professional experience.
- 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in systems administration, IT support, infrastructure operations, or a related technical role.
- Hands-on experience supporting enterprise servers, endpoint devices, and business technology solutions.
- Working knowledge of:

- Experience diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, connectivity, authentication, printing, collaboration platform, and business application issues.
Preferred Technical Experience
- Experience with one or more of the following technologies:
- VMware
- Hyper-V
- Microsoft Intune
- Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM)
- Microsoft 365
- Entra ID (Azure AD)
- SharePoint
- OneDrive
- PowerShell
- Enterprise Backup Solutions
- Manufacturing or Operational Technology (OT) Environments

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure, systems administration, or IT operations.
- Experience supporting and administering multiple enterprise technology platforms.
- Experience with:
- Infrastructure Upgrades
- Platform Migrations
- Technology Lifecycle Management
- System Implementations
- Multi-site Enterprise Environments
- Exposure to manufacturing, engineering, laboratory, distribution, or operational environments.
- Familiarity with:
- IT Service Management (ITSM)

- Disaster Recovery Planning
- Structured Change Management
- Operational Technology (OT) Security
Preferred Certifications
- Relevant industry certifications are highly valued, including:
- Microsoft Certifications
