Role Description

The Information Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Oldham. The role involves managing and updating information systems that support services such as housing inspection reports, money transfers, tickets, benefit applications, NICOP cards, and Umrah visa processing. Day-to-day tasks include providing technical support to staff, resolving basic IT issues, troubleshooting hardware and software problems, and ensuring data is stored, organized, and accessible in a secure manner. The Information Technician will also assist with maintaining records, monitoring system performance, and communicating clearly with team members to help improve workflows. The role requires close collaboration with service staff to ensure accurate information management and smooth operation of client-facing services.
