At EPX Technical Services, we're an award-winning MSP supporting businesses across Staffordshire, the North-West and beyond. We provide IT support, cyber security, cloud solutions and strategic technology advice that helps our clients grow with confidence.
We're looking for a Partner Consultant to join our team. This role combines account management, consultancy and sales, making it ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving business challenges and helping customers make informed technology decisions.
Rather than simply selling products, you'll work closely with business leaders to understand their goals, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend the right technology solutions to support their organisation.
What you'll be doing
- Managing and developing relationships with an existing portfolio of customers.
- Acting as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for your accounts.
- Conducting regular account reviews and strategic consultancy meetings.
- Understanding customers' businesses, challenges and future plans.
- Creating technology roadmaps and improvement recommendations.
- Identifying opportunities to align EPX services and solutions with customer needs.
- Driving revenue growth while maintaining strong customer satisfaction.
- Generating and progressing new opportunities through account development and referrals.
- Delivering both online and face-to-face presentations.
- Working with technical teams to create proposals, quotations and recommendations.
- Managing contracts, agreements and service reviews.
- Maintaining accurate forecasting and pipeline management.
- Ensuring accounts remain commercially healthy and profitable.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
