Digital Vendor & Commercial Administrator | £30,000 | Permanent
📍 5 days per week on-site in Preston
💰 £30,000 + benefits
Are you currently working in administration, procurement, finance, IT support or operations and looking for an opportunity to develop your career within a growing Digital function?
I'm recruiting for a Digital Vendor & Commercial Administrator to join an established organisation experiencing significant growth and investment in its technology capability.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone relatively early in their career who is highly organised, commercially aware and great with detail, and who wants to build longer-term experience across vendor management, procurement and digital operations.
What will you be doing?
You'll work closely with teams across Digital, IT, Finance and Procurement, supporting the commercial administration behind the organisation's technology estate.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the administration of technology suppliers and vendors
- Raising and tracking purchase orders
- Processing invoices and resolving discrepancies
- Maintaining supplier, contract and renewal information
- Tracking software subscriptions and licences
- Supporting new supplier onboarding
- Maintaining records of digital costs and commercial commitments
- Supporting month-end activities alongside Finance
- Tracking IT assets including laptops, mobiles, software and licences
- Supporting joiner, mover and leaver processes
- Producing basic supplier spend and renewal reporting
- Maintaining accurate records and supporting governance processes
- Communicating with suppliers and internal stakeholders

What are we looking for?
You don't need to be an experienced Vendor Manager or Procurement professional.
We're interested in people with experience in areas such as:
- Administration
- Procurement
- Finance
- Commercial Operations
- IT Support
- Service Delivery
- PMO
- Digital Operations
You'll ideally have some exposure to areas such as:
- Purchase orders and invoices
- Supplier/vendor administration
- Procurement processes
- Contracts, licences or renewals
- IT asset management
- Excel and reporting
- Maintaining accurate financial or operational records
