The Role
We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic IT Analyst to join our growing IT & Analytics team based in Castle Donington.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build their career in IT within a fast-paced and evolving business. The successful candidate will provide first and second-line technical support across the organisation, ensuring that systems, devices, and applications operate efficiently and securely.
You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues, supporting end users, maintaining IT infrastructure, and contributing to technology projects that help drive the business forward.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day technical support to users across the business.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
- Log, track, and manage incidents and service requests through the IT ticketing system.
- Escalate complex issues to internal specialists or third-party providers where necessary.
- Set up, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripheral equipment.
- Administer user accounts, permissions, and access controls across business systems.
- Install, configure, and support business applications and software updates.
- Assist with maintaining IT security standards, including device compliance and access management.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues.
- Produce and maintain IT documentation, procedures, and knowledge base articles.
- Work closely with colleagues across departments to deliver excellent customer service.
- Support and contribute to IT improvement initiatives and business technology projects.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Experience providing technical support within an IT helpdesk or support environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, VPNs, and printers.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Strong analytical and organisational skills.
- Ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- A customer-focused approach with a positive and professional attitude.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Desirable
- Experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Experience using or supporting Linnworks.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, and Microsoft 365 administration.
- Experience working within distribution, warehousing, manufacturing, or retail environments.
- Knowledge of reporting tools such as Power BI.
- Relevant IT qualifications or certifications such as:
- CompTIA A+
- Microsoft Certifications
- ITIL Foundation
- Equivalent industry-recognised qualifications
