The Role

We want to hear from you if you’re looking for a role in which you can develop and progress; we’re in an exciting stage of our development as a company and now is a great time to join us.

You’ll be joining our Technology & Transformation team and will provide technical support and assistance to business users.

You’ll troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve software, hardware, and network problems users encounter, as well as working closely with the business functions and Senior IT Operations Manager on initiatives and projects. You’ll drive the reduction of IT issues and play a pivotal part in the strategic drive for efficiency & automation, using new and upcoming technologies.

This will be a varied role, and you’ll get involved in many things, but here’s a taster of what you’ll get up to…

  • Working with stakeholders at all levels to understand business challenges and develop solutions to support their resolution.
  • Providing 1st and 2nd line support; ensuring logged incidents & service requests are resolved within the defined SLA.
  • Work closely with the Senior IT Operations Manager to progress strategic work and ensure the swift resolution of business problems.
  • Manage, maintain, and support technology devices
  • Identifying system gaps and/or opportunities to improve efficiency and developing solutions to realise business value.
  • Administer key IT applications, such as Active Directory, M365 and our telephone system.
  • Assist in the configuration, deployment, and management of end user devices.
  • Influence the department’s policies and procedures.
  • Identifying new technologies to support us to achieve our strategic objectives.
  • Liaise with 3rd party suppliers to improve applications and establish IT operation best practices.
  • Providing input to the continuous review of our processes and procedures, ways of working and tooling to enhance the department’s capability and offering into the wider business.
  • Supporting the identification of key IT risks and appropriate mitigations to keep them within appetite.
  • Adhering to our GDPR and security policies.

This role will be primarily based onsite, with some hybrid working and will require you to work on Saturday morning every three weeks on a rota basis.

We focus on customers with non-standard credit profiles that may not fit the automated underwriting processes of other lenders.
