Allegis Global Solutions is recruiting for a contract position, and the assignment will be at Warner Bros. Discovery.

Role Details:

  • Title: IT Analyst
  • Payrate: £ 340 per day via PAYE
  • Contract Duration: 6 Months
  • Mode: Hybrid (2-3 Days work from office)
  • Location: Warner Bros Discovery, Leavesden

Position Summary

This position sits within the People & Culture (P&C) Technology team and is based in Leavesden, UK supporting the P&C, Workday and Employee Connection teams. The IT Analyst will provide day-to-day technical and analytical support across these functions, helping to triage and resolve application issues, support vendor and project management activities, and maintain accurate technology system records. A good understanding of AI is key to this role, and previous experience using AI in a work setting is highly desirable as the team looks to explore how these tools can support and improve technology operations. This role requires strong organisational and analytical skills, along with the ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues, business stakeholders and external vendors across a cross-cultural, international environment.

Your Role Accountabilities…

  • Provide technical and vendor support:
    • Triage application configuration or support issues with the correct business functions and ensure timely resolution
    • Assist technical teams in vendor management to ensure various application security certificates are kept up to date and functional
    • Provide technical advisory where possible to business functions in line with Enterprise Technology strategy
    • Prepare and update project materials including PowerPoint/Excel tracking templates and Microsoft Project plans and provide project notes and actions from stakeholder calls
    • Assist in updating internal application tracking systems with application details and escalating data gaps or inconsistencies predominantly across our Workforce management Workday and Payroll Systems
    • Utilise AI-assisted development, analysis and productivity tools to improve operational efficiency, automate repetitive activities, accelerate troubleshooting and support continuous improvement initiatives across P&C Technology platforms

Skills and Experience…

  • Experience working in an IT Role within a support or analyst capacity
  • Experience dealing with external development vendors and third-party service providers
  • Strong analytical and technology skills, complemented by a good understanding of corporate functions
  • Strong team player and ability to collaborate with stakeholders (including external vendors) to resolve issues
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to operate successfully in a cross-cultural environment
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and handle multiple requests
  • Experience working with HR / Payroll systems
  • Experience using AI-powered productivity and technical tooling to improve support, analysis, documentation and problem-solving activities
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to accelerate technical research, issue triage, documentation creation and process automation

Desirable

  • Experience in a Technology Support Role providing user and customer support
  • Previous experience working in a PMO related role
  • Previous experience as a Project Co-ordinator
  • Experience using AI-assisted engineering and productivity tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot or similar platforms.
  • Exposure to scripting, workflow automation or AI-assisted application support activities.
  • Interest in emerging AI technologies and their application within enterprise technology environments

Additional Information

  • Travel: Some European and international travel will be expected from time-to-time, dependent on product development, project delivery and launches of new services, along with vendor management and oversight within their locations/offices.

Hybrid Working - This role is based in Leavesden, UK. You will be working from home in general, with some office working as and when necessary, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
