Job Title: IT Applications Analyst
Type: Contract (3-6 months)
Location: South West London (Hybrid working)
Vetting: BPSS Level
Experience required -
- Proven Business Analyst or Applications Analyst experience within large-scale application remediation and migration programmes.
- Strong experience supporting Windows 10 to Windows 11 migrations, assessing application compatibility and coordinating remediation activities.
- Ability to gather, analyse and document business and technical requirements across multiple departments and stakeholder groups.
- Experience working with business users to understand application usage, dependencies, risks, and operational impacts of change.
- Proven track record coordinating application testing, defect management, business validation, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) through to sign-off.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, acting as the link between business users, IT teams, third-party suppliers, and application packaging partners.
- Experience maintaining application inventories, remediation trackers, risks, issues, and reporting to support programme governance.
- Good understanding of Microsoft Intune, Endpoint Manager, and modern application deployment practices, sufficient to oversee delivery and challenge technical teams.
- Experience analysing software usage, licence compliance, and rationalisation opportunities using tools such as SNOW or similar asset management platforms.
- Advanced data analysis and reporting skills, including reconciliation of multiple data sources (HR, CMDB, asset discovery, Intune, SAM tools) to support decision-making and migration planning.
