Role Overview
Provides onsite support for IT asset management, inventory control, storage, distribution, and equipment records across customer-driven projects.
Responsible for receiving, sorting, organising, and preparing IT equipment for domestic and international distribution, while maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting customer requirements.
The role involves working closely with warehouse, logistics, customer, and management teams to ensure equipment is accurately tracked, prepared, and delivered within agreed timescales.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate IT asset and warehouse inventory records
- Manage the ordering, tracking, and reporting of IT equipment and deliveries
- Maintain inventory information using Microsoft SharePoint
- Perform IT asset tagging and equipment identification
- Receive, sort, organise, and re-bundle IT equipment according to customer requirements
- Prepare IT equipment for domestic and international shipment
- Track and communicate shipment details, equipment locations, and ETAs to customers
- Liaise with customers regarding equipment requirements, requests, and deliveries
- Work with couriers and third-party logistics providers to resolve late, lost, or damaged shipments
- Support monthly invoicing by documenting customer equipment requests and associated activity
- Attend regular logistics and inventory management meetings
- Maintain accurate equipment and asset records
- Support ad-hoc IT asset management, inventory, and logistics projects
- Assist colleagues to meet operational schedules and customer deadlines
- Work with management and wider teams to implement new processes and operational initiatives
- Escalate ongoing performance, inventory, or delivery issues to management
- Ensure compliance with relevant ISO standards and procedures
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse/work environment
- Work onsite in a warehouse and IT equipment environment

Candidate Requirements
- 1–3 years' experience in IT asset management, inventory, warehouse, logistics, or a related technology environment
- Strong understanding of inventory management processes and equipment tracking
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Experience maintaining accurate records and inventory databases
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working collaboratively with customers, colleagues, and management
- Ability to work effectively in an onsite warehouse environment
- Physically able to stand, bend, squat, and lift equipment weighing up to approximately 22kg
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple equipment requests, shipments, and deadlines simultaneously
