Role Description
The Information Technology Business Analyst is a full-time, hybrid-based role based in Aberdeen. This role involves working with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements related to information systems and process improvements.

The Business Analyst will translate business needs into functional specifications, collaborate with IT teams on solution design, and support implementation and testing activities. Day-to-day tasks include:

- Mapping and optimising business processes
- Preparing documentation and reports
- Facilitating workshops and meetings
- Monitoring the performance of implemented solutions
The role also involves providing ongoing support, identifying opportunities for further improvement, and ensuring that technology solutions align with business objectives and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess Business Analysis capabilities, including requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, and solution evaluation.
- Candidates should possess experience working with Business Requirements and Business Process documentation, modeling, and optimization.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Information Technology concepts, systems integration, and IT-enabled business solutions.
- Relevant experience in the oil and gas industry or other industrial sectors is beneficial.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise workload, and deliver within agreed timelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
